Loopie — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Loopie is a djembe & dundun rhythm player and community. This policy explains what the app stores and why. Loopie contains no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app.

No account required

Loopie does not require you to create an account. When you open the app you are signed in anonymously so you can browse, play, and save rhythms. You may optionally sign in with Google to attach a display name and photo to rhythms you publish; this is entirely your choice.

What we store

Loopie does not collect your location, contacts, microphone input, or device advertising identifiers. Audio is generated on your device; nothing you play is recorded or uploaded.

How data is processed

App data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication) acting as our data processor. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google processes your sign-in in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Data retention & your choices
